Marriage for Men You’re Poor or Illogical

Turn 27-29… “Settle down”.  Have kids and send kids to college… Get older. Sleep in house. Coin flip you get a divorce. Work to pay a slew of bills. Wake up. You’re dying today. Do you think “So glad I spent all this time working my ass off”

Money: All marriages protect assets prior to marriage but not after. Even with a pre-nup. Run those numbers. Lets say you’re successful making $100K+ by the time you turn 30. Make the numbers easy by 50 that’s 2 million. Half that is at risk and the rest is going to “family”… Pass. Before readers get angry here’s the debunk to all arguments

“You can’t think of marriage in terms of money” Then you shouldn’t need a contract

You shouldn’t need a pre-nup if you love her” If the love were equal she wouldn’t need a piece of paper to tell her you’re in love

“You can’t raise a family without marriage” This has no logic attached, the paper doesn’t impact raising a family

“Tax Benefits” A successful man will pay an extra few percentage points for the protection of 50% of his earnings. A smart one would.

Kids: Kids are great, just not in a rigged financial system. If you really want them? Get a donor and have a kid yourself. It will cost less.

Houses: Run the math. That tax benefit is not worth it when you layer in home upkeep. If you can afford a house why buy it to put two bodies in there. Keeping up with your peers? Must be insecure if you care about their opinions.

Aging: Stress ages you… rapidly. Life can be amazing, walking out the door with no obligations, stash of cash in your pocket. Instead lets replace saving cash with bills, kids and a mortgage payment… Pass.

Death: Visit your local hospital. Volunteer. Give back. You’ll realize no one wishes they worked harder, they wish they lived more. You also learn that we all die alone.

The above quick points, if readers have gotten this far are likely wondering… What does this have to do with being poor? The answer is simple, shared resources. Travel around the world to rich and poor places and you’ll see a trend. They are forced to live in larger confines and work together with shared economies. That is all it is. Human survival due to living constraints.

So which one are you? Poor or Illogical?
