Change for Success.

Today we went out and changed ourselves. One positive step in the right or wrong direction. Let’s move in the right direction.

Many people believe good change happens rapidly. These people get no where fast. Let’s look at a few examples of positive “fast” changes.

Money: people who win the lotto, the large majority go bankrupt rapidly, sports stars, some rappers and the list goes on.

Body: those that get liposuction and face lifts tend to have the same tendencies. To move back to normal. Get over weight, or their skin did not adjust. All bad things.

New jobs: if we are unqualified for a job that we cheated to get to we tend to get fired.

Quick fixes: look at drug dealers, gambling addicts and multiple fast crash dieters. They tend to return back to “normal” because a rapid change is generally of un-natural causes.

There are always exceptions to this rule but for the majority slow change is best. Positive slow changes.

Money: get a large check? Sit on it and do nothing until your emotions return to normalcy. You have allowed your mentality to adjust. This is the same for a negative loss. Go for a walk and avoid emotional decisions. Control them.

Body: Make small changes. Groom ourselves. Brush your teeth twice s day instead of once. Sleep 8 hours instead of 7. Eat no desserts. Eat protein in the morning.

New jobs: Slowly move up and when the opportunity arises strike. Don’t work harder than your 100% best work shows. Turning in 7 items of perfection is better than 9 at 80%.

There is no secret. Create momentum, positive habits create more positive habits! Let’s all take a step in the right direction.

Your life is not a zero sum. Even the tiniest change in the right direction and make us drift down the road to happiness and success.
